TV Guide not functional

When first using the guide on a sheild (but appears to be the same on LG app) the guide is correct. However when returning to the guide after some time watching a channel, there are large sections of white space and the info shown does not match the timestamp at the top.

It’s got to a point that I have to explain to the ‘other half’ to go back to the left hand menu, go up or down (to load a different section) and then go back to the guide in order to have it update correctly.

Can this be fixed please? (pretty please?)

Same issue here - only appears to be with the Android/GoogleTV client.

Other troubleshooting steps:

  • This issue has been present for quite some time (aka versions) of the Android client.
  • To replicate, you will need a server configured with Live TV and several stations with guide data (I have 36 stations in my location).
  • On the Android TV client, Go to Live TV, choose a channel to watch from the guide and let some time pass (30 minutes should be PLENTY of time)
  • Hit the back button which brings you back to the guide. The guide data may or may not appear okay at this point. Scroll down the list of channels and blank spaces should appear. Also, yesterday when looking at this, I was able to highlight a blank space and it showed a totally different channel’s programming listed up at the top of the screen.

I’m also having a major issue with the guide and the Google TV client. If I click on “Guide” I simply get the message “Error Loading Content”. Interestingly the “What’s On” button actually works and brings up the program info.

I’ve tested with many other clients (Web, Android mobile, HTPC, Roku etc) and the guide loads perfectly. However no luck with Google TV on the Chromecast.

I moved to Emby. Love Plex but need more than what it can currently do.
