I recently updated plex to allow for added live tv got everything working but it seems to have to different types of tv guides. if i log in with master account and click live tv i then click on channels and get a tv guide where i can see what is playing now or scroll ahead and see what is on at 10 as well as have options to record or play. but if i log in on same box just a different user i still go to live tv at top but then i get a button that says guide instead of channels. if i click that i do not get a guide i just get all channels listed with box covers like there movies with a description below each saying name of channel and how long left. this view makes it real hard to find whats on or what might be coming up i would rather have the guide view for all its much easier. did i miss something in setup or is it just not availible that way to all my users in house. I did verify that all users have access to live tv under restrictions. any help would be greatly appreciated
I’m having the same issue. If I’m logged in then I get the live TV option. If my wife goes to the server app URL then she gets no option to see the grid view, and the only option she gets on a show is to record, not play.
Are you both using the web app? Are you using it at app.plex.tv/desktop or via local IP? Which version number of player and server?
