Forgive me if this is an obvious thing but I’ve only just installed Plex in the last few days on my Mac (loving it by the way) but I have a problem with TV programs not being correctly named if they are just in a folder with lots of random TV programs. If I then add these programs to individual folders, giving each folder the name of the TV series then it will correctly name each episode but I generally just have a lot of random episodes of different things so I didn’t really want to have to create a folder for each series. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry, but the only way for Plex and any other media player to properly recognize the shows is to place them in the correct locations. While the movie scraper will look at file names, the TV scraper only look at directory names and season/episode numbers.
