I have a show called Special, https://www.thetvdb.com/series/342976/seasons/1,
which i have tried to get Plex to recognise but it is failing.
I have tried adding the year (2019) to the folder name and all the individual episodes but still no joy.
Any suggestions how to get plex to add it
Still not working
Have tried both inside a season folder and outside a season folder
Have also tried Special (2019) - 1x01.mkv as format
Any other suggestions
Tried adding this show and it matched as “NCIS: Los Angeles” go figure…
So you could check if your’s matched it as that by mistake.
Had to fix match to correct it.
Naming was
Special (2019)
— Season 01
------ Special (2019) - s01e01 - Chapter One- Cerebral LOLzy.mkv
------ Special (2019) - s01e02 - Chapter Two- The Deep End.mkv
etc…
That could explain it as i suddenly had seson 1 of NCIS Los Angeles but had never had it before although I had later episodes lol
haha, yep if you get info on one of the episodes and it will probably be one of the Special episodes, so just do a fix match from the top level of the show and chose the correct Show.
Only issue with that is that NCIS Los Angeles is a show i have later seasons for
ahh, not quite sure how to get round that.
Worst case you could move NCIS out of the way of Plex, (Plex Dance it) then fix match on Special and then re add NCIS
Unless anyone has any better ideas.
