Plex Preview Roku client, latest PMS on Window 7 Pro server. In the last 1-2 weeks the subject behavior stated. TV show theme music worked fine for years. I searched the Forums on “theme music” and found literally dozens of topics and 100’s of posts but none describe my problem. I cannot find any setting in PMS other than “enable theme music” and this is checked. Still no joy. Anybody?
Not a peep from anybody. Turns out my Android tablet and phone don’t have this problem. Only the Roku’s. All eight of them. TV Show Theme Music Cuts Off After 1-2 seconds. WHAAAAA?
My guess is that your Rokus are exhibiting good taste. >:)
On a bit more serious note the first thing I would try is to uncheck that box. Then exit the app. Then restart the Roku. Then reenter the app and then recheck the box and see if the issue continues.
Nope, I did all that. (Except “Theme Music” is no longer a “check box.” I set it to “Off.” Rebooted Roku, then set it to “Medium.”) Themes still cut off after 1 second.
It probably the bug reported in the Plex for Roku Forums.
The dev for the Roku app is aware of the problem, so maybe a fix is on the way.
