TV Shows and Movies in my local library play without sound on AppleTV

Lately (last two days)_ when I choose to play a tv show or movie from my local iTunes library which is managed through Plex, the content starts playing but there is no audio when I use the Plex client on Apple TV.

I can play content without problem on my iPhone or iPad. I have restarted the AppleTV several times which used to fix the issue of garbled audio. If I try to watch a streamed Plex content such as a Plex streamed TV show or movie, the audio is good, the issue is only with content linked to iTunes via Plex running on my Mac Pro.

How should I address this?

Are you running the beta of tvOS 15 on your Apple TV?
From what I’ve been reading, the current tvOS beta has still “growing pains” when it comes to Plex.
