TV Shows - Skip Season Page?

Do the following;- turn Flatten Season to False now repeat your test. You'll see the show with multiple seasons and only 1 unwatched episode still displays the "All Seasons". This is just how the Plex library works, it's always worked like this and adding the Flatten Season hasn't changed this in any way.

And me adding the default of "False" to the option makes no difference because it still shows the same behavior :)

The only way to really solve this is to remove the "All Seasons" for everthing.

I am fine with the "All Seasons" in the seasons page - it's just when you want to flatten things, it should flatten them correctly. All of them. :-)

Yep, the default of "False" didn't change anything. And I am thankful for that.

I don't think that we want to remove the All Seasons, do we?

No, I meant remove it for the situation you described, which the new commit does, have you tried it?

Not yet... read the code first. :-)

You don't like the "use PlexConnect's aTV XML instead of directly poking PMS" idea, do you?

Ok, did a quick walk through.  Looks better that way, I guess. :-)

Short answer, No.

Long answer, at the series level neither Plexconnect or the aTV know what the season level xml is, so coding wise it was easier to just let the aTV grab the xml.

Guess is comes down to the same problem we always seem to have, you hate javascript and I hate python. You want everything done in python, I find it much easier to implement things in javascript.

Quick heads up: "flatten season" doesn't work on shared libraries or local servers that require authentication. :-(

Edit: Fixed. Thanks, Roidy!

I have the latest version of PMS on Mac but I cannot find this option. Anyone could help?

The option is in the PlexConnect settings not PMS.

PlexConnect->Settings->TV Show Options->Flatten Season

Can I just say that when roidy and Baa move onto other things later in life, can you guys please write a sitcom about your lives? I would watch the ■■■■ out of that.

;-)

Nuthin' but love!
