Player Version#: 8.6 (NVidia Shield and Fire TV)
In a prior post, I described an issue with TV shows setup with “Season: Hide” selected under advanced, so as to flatten a single season series (see Single Series TV show displays series poster for ever episode and no title ). The issue with the show’s series poster being shown as the image for each individual episode has been fixed and the episode image is being correctly displayed (thank you!). However, the episode number and title are still not shown. In addition, when I click on an episode, it takes me to a second list of the episodes (although the episode I clicked on is already selected). This second list, which appears to be like the normal episode list within a season, does show the episode number, title, and a short description.
For TV shows with “Season: Hide” selected, please just show the episodes on the show’s “root screen” (or whatever you call it), with episode number and title, so we can actually know what the episode is, and making it so we can just play the episode by clicking on it from there, rather send us to a second episode list, where we then have to click yet again to play.
This issue exists with NVidia Shield and Fire TV, player version 8.6.
