Currently it seems i can only turn on subtitle episode by episode and that is annoying. Auto setup in the settings does not satisfy me and it’s not even working right. I would like to be able to open a show and set the audio and subtitles accordingly for the whole season. Would be great if you could get this done.
How’s the language settings for audio/subtitles not working for you?

Thanks for pointing that out. Seems like plex has been ignoring this for years. Rather disappointing, seems like a simple fix.
I did get it to work if i choose ‘show with foreign audio’
i had selected ‘always enabled’ and that would choose the wrong subtitles.
Still need this feature on each season, rather than having to go into the settings. I want to swap between english and japanese subtitles often and by show/season.
