TVDB Down

Welcome

tvdb.com
Since 1988

Hi Everybody:

After many years of continuous service, we have taken our website off-line for a while, to perform some much needed maintenance and improvements, and to expand our database and related services.

We will be back on-line soon.

Please note that our domain name is not for sale.

Thank you for stopping by!

Good Day!

Just to be clear, this has no impact on Plex or associated metadata services. If you’d like to visit the high-value content at tvdb.com prior to this change, archive.org can hook you up. If you’d like to support TheTVDB, one of our main sources for TV metadata, you can find them at https://thetvdb.com.

The archive.org link is a little odd. May want to check that.

It looks odd because it’s a cache of tvdb.com (some kind of spiritual organization?) as opposed to thetvdb.com which is our metadata provider.

I’m wondering, does The TVDB know that plex is a heavy user of its meta data? Why not include that in their announcement? I’m sure many plex users scrambled here to get the scoop.
