I got seduced into updating my Appletv4k with swipe remote to tvos15.
Plex immediately refused to play a good deal of content - suspect its codec dependent. Switching off the new player in settings seems to fix the issue, but am stuck using the old player.
Anybody else?
Yup, it now won’t play AC3 audio at all on the new player, plays DTS though. Works on the old player.
I’m stumped how fragile the whole eco system is. You’d think the app model would protect apps in the majority from underlying o/s changes.
No more tvOS betas for me. There is always some unexpected plex issue afterwards. Last time plex couldn’t play trailers.
