Like a general setting like watch movie delete or whatever. The same goes for tv its suck that you are only allow to configure this by tvshow not by general rules for TVshow as one.
I didn’t know about this feature. Super handy! Thanks to the devs for this one for sure!
How would this make sense for Movies?
Do you want to limit the total size of a library?
I personally don’t use or like this feature since if you have multiple users files get deleted before all proper users can view them.
I appreciate that some people may like the ability to delete media from a client or automatically. I prefer the good old fashioned way, manually and deliberately, using the file manager on my computer. I don’t have any options enabled to delete thru Plex, but every time a new method comes up, I’m afraid some hidden bug will make it possible for something to get accidentally deleted. I know, I worry too much.

No, you aren’t the only one that worries too much, but I do (when the ‘other family member isn’t on location’) use the app delete function, but more times than I can recall I’ve gone to the recycle bin to fix an ‘oops’. I’m often afraid Plex’s oppses will be harder to recover from.
well my Home media server have limited space and i dont like to keep the files home, i use this https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/84822/plex-auto-delete-script/p1 and its pretty good. But i would like this option to delete the movie files on a server on the web becuase i cant run the same scrip that i run home.

I dont like how it work but its usefull for me for the webserver. I notice it delete the hole folder instead of the episode. The scrip that i use linked before, its good for delete local files and related files.
