I would like to have the option on PMS "Allow clients to delete media", to be expanded to also give to the option to delete the parent directory in a given library.
My movies are all contained in separate directories. Plex refers to this as Folder Nesting.
/Media/Movies/Rocky/Rocky.mkv
/Media/Movies/Rocky.2/Rocky.2.mkv
etc..
When deleting Rocky from the client, I would want PMS not to only delete the file Rocky.mkv, but also to delete the parent directory Rocky with all files in it.
In the above example my library folder is /Media/Movies. In case the file is located in /Media/Movies/Rocky.mkv, to avoid deleting the whole library folder, only the media file should be deleted if parent directory equals library folder.
Also, this behaviour should only be in specified library folders of the users choosing.
E.g. I would want this behaviour in my Movies library, but not in my TV Shows library.
I watch and then directly delete (most of) my content. This feature would relieve me of periodic NAS cleanup of empty media folders.
