Two accounts, one for Plex and one for Forums - can I merge them?

My Plex Pass account gives away personal information, so when I first started posting here on the forums I created a different account here.

Is there a way to: (a) post here without showing my account userid? (i.e. showing a name of my choosing) and (b) if “a” is a ‘yes’, can the two accounts be merged?

If “a” and “b” are true, please advise how / whom to email off-list.

You can change your forum username on your forum profile prefernces to whatever you want as long as another account is not using it already.
