I’m trying to use Plex as a PVR, but I have two major problems:

Newly recorded shows often won’t play back and simply say “Error: An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.” Meanwhile it will play just fine if I choose the file using VLC on my Shield. if I wait, for example until the next day, the recording will play just fine using Plex.

Recordings are corrupted with a few jumbled frames every 30 seconds or so. This appears as a “flash” on the screen and usually about half the screen is obscured and lasts about a second.
