Hello, reaching out because this is beyond my depth into both Plex and Linux. Plex fails to load the server on start or restart, showing the exit code below. This has been happening intermittently with the upgrades to plex. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Please examine sudo journalctl -xe | grep plex and look for error messages. Include anything you find here (the first line or two showing what the error is is most helpful).
Next, please create a tar.gz of the Logs directory under **Plex Media Server (/var/lib/plexmediaserver) and attach it.
Hmm… sudo journalctl yields no results, /var/lib/plexmediaserver is empty ourside of the Library directory. Thinking I should just uninstall and reinstall?
I followed non-standard install instructions after creating/mounting disk ‘disks’ and moving all video material to directories ‘tv’ ‘movies’ etc
Looking at those file structures, I thought they were all supposed to be owned by PMS, but it shows my login as owner. But I cannot find the install directory, wherever I put it
The database is locked the moment PMS starts up. This isn’t good.
Whose “Non-Standard” install instructions did you use?

It has been some time since install and I may be confusing PMS install with a NVR I put together. If anything was custom, it was the setup with a separate PMS owned mount point in ‘/disks’ I will get on the reinstall and report back if/when resolved. Thanks for your help @ChuckPa!
If you’re talking about this non-standard configuration, The technique is pretty much the defacto standard on how to deal with Gnome Nautilus and the automounter.
