UI Experience: Collection library titles all use "Movie"

I have different “movie” libraries that I have named. When a collection contains items in two or more libraries, Plex still calls them “movies”. For instance, here are some of the libraries I have:

Along with my albums, my “Blondie” collection contains Movies, Music Videos and several Longform Music Videos. However Plex doesn’t use the names of the libraries so I get this:

It should use the names of the libraries instead, like this:

Longform Music Videos in Blondie Collection
Movies in Blondie Collection
Music Videos in Blondie Collection

Seems logical. +1.

That’ll definitely be helpful and much appreciated.
should be part of some “final touches” to make the inline collections awesome

Yes but also between all Libraries not just movies. Plex should Use Library Name in Cross Library Collections instead of Library Type in general. So if Men in Black for example had a TV Show and I had a Music Library just for Soundtracks it would be like.

4K Movies in Men in Black Collection
3D Movies in Men in Black Collection
Movies in Men in Black Collection
4K TV Shows in Men in Black Collection
TV Shows in Men in Black Collection
Soundtracks in Men in Black Collection

instead of…

Movies in Men in Black Collection
Movies in Men in Black Collection
Movies in Men in Black Collection
TV Shows in Men in Black Collection
TV Shows in Men in Black Collection
Music in Men in Black Collection

Current implementation you can’t tell which is which.

+1 from me as well! It’s frustrating this is still the case. I have 4 “movie” libraries: Movies, Documentaries, Stand-Up Comedy, and Shorts. I also have 2 TV libraries: TV Shows and Cartoons. It would be amazing to distinguish between these on media pages, OR allow these collections to be merged based on library type (similar to how recently added media can be combined on the Home page).

Plex HTPC feature showing items from different Libraries that share the same [Collection Name] is pretty useful.

But I’ve got multiple “Movie” libraries depending on whether the items are “Feature Films”, or “Documentary Films”, or “Special Interest Films”;and I’ve got multiple “TV Show” libraries depending on whether the items constitute a typical “TV Series”, or “Documentary Series”, or “College Courses”.

The feature could be more useful if instead of saying “TV Shows in [Collection Name]” or “Movies in [Collection Name]”; It said “[Library Name] in [Collection Name]”.

For those who prefer the generic reference to “Movies” or “TV Shows”, the additional feature I’m suggesting could be enabled/disabled with a settings switch somewhere in PMS.

Wow! Joining a string of customers suggesting the same thing, that goes back 5 years. Nice work Plex Professional Team !
Not . . . . .

I could ignore plex’s section headers and figure out which library I’m looking at through context clues, but I think I should be able to rely on the accuracy of the text on the screen instead.

Yes please!

Just an option to show librairies names instead of their type inside collections (if you absolutly want to keep the “type label”..)

Should be a really quick add
