Unable to access PLEX server configuration options

Hello support team,

I’m experiencing an issue with my PLEX server. When I try to access the server configuration options through the administration panel, the usual options are not displayed.

I’ve tried several solutions such as restarting the server and checking the network connection, but the problem persists. I’m unable to make changes to my PLEX server configuration, which makes managing and optimizing my media library difficult.

Could you please help me understand why I can’t access the server configuration options and how I can resolve this issue?

I appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide.

Can you still access the server settings while using the bundled version of Plex Web (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:32400/web if you’re on the same machine)

Thank you for your suggestion. Actually, I’m using Plex on TrueNAS and, unfortunately, I don’t see any option to configure the server or access my libraries from the web interface. The only available option is for my user account.

I would love to provide a screenshot so you can better understand the issue, but unfortunately, the forum doesn’t allow me to attach images.

Is there any other suggestion you could offer to resolve this problem? I really appreciate your help.

The forum does allow images to be attached. I use MS Paint to paste my desktop “PRT SC” screenshots, then crop the image using the tool, and save as PNG. Then, simply drag and drop the png into the reply post and wait for the upload to complete.

As long as you don’t use a subnet for your Plex on your truenas (same subnet as your current computer), I think you should be able to access http://YOUR_TRUENAS_IP_HERE:32400/web to get to the internal web client.

(Does anyone know if accessing the bundled Plex client on TrueNAS is different? I recall one NAS having an odd way to configure it…)

I’ve already taken care of it, thank you very much for everything.
