I am trying to add a home user but the button to add a home user, managed user or guest is missing. I do have plex pass. Any help appreciated!
The one account showing is not identified as the Admin account. I don’t know why that is, but that probably explains why the ‘Invite’ buttons are missing.
I have another account, but for various reasons I could not get the plex pass on that account, and that account does say Admin. How do I transfer admin rights to the account with the plex pass?
Use the ‘incognito’ mode of your web browser.
Log into the other plex account.
Go to Settings - Server - General
and sign out the Server
close the incognito browser window
Refresh the web app (F5) in your normal web browser window. It will pop up an information that there is an ‘unclaimed’ server in your local network. Claim it.
When I log into the other account using an incognito web browser, I do not see a server option. I believe that account was already signed out. So I tried that process using the account with the plex pass, signed out, refreshed, and then claimed server but I still do not have admin control.
EDIT: Resolved. On the other account, I still had a guest user, when I deleted that user and signed out of the server I was able to claim the server with the plex pass account.

Make sure your server and your web browser have full internet connectivity while doing this.
