Unable to add new Plex Server after deleting old one

I have removed the old server from authorized devices. I have deleted the Plex server app, and manually removed the registry files and the folder in the app data location.

I have even used Revo uninstaller to find and remove anything related to Plex.

When I sign into my account after redownloading and installing the Plex server again, I am never greeted with the setup screen. I am taken directly to the web interface and the server I thought I removed is there but “unreachable.” I have no option to reclaim the server and no option to create a new server.

Any assistance would be appreciated because I am about to abandon Plex and move to a different platform if I cannot get this resolved.

Try Incognito mode on your browser, since might be browser related (Cookies etc)

Make sure to access the server through the bundled web app (e.g. using http://127.0.0.1:32400/web if you’re on the same machine).
