I apologize for Christmas post it probably won’t get much attention but I’m trapped at a firehouse for the holiday and trying to get our viewing up here during our shift.
I am accessing Plex via Fire stick and I am logged onto the account in which the folders (Movies & TV Shows) are shared to. On viewing the Movies and TV section none of my files show up to browse them. However when searching for them specifically they show up. See screenshots below.
When I click into the server menu nothing drops down or shows up for that shared server. Again the odd part is I can search for them and locate the files.
Movies and TV Shows are not being shared with you. These are provided free by Plex for all Plex users. This has nothing to do with any shared servers you may have access to.
Can you double check in Plex Web and make sure you can access the shared server from there. If the libraries are not showing up, it’s possible the connection to that shared server isn’t working. I’ll need to see the logs from the Fire TV to check what is going on.
Hey It actually seems to have resolved itself. They started popping up in the servers section and I was able to pin them to main screen. Maybe it was connection issue. Thank you for your help!
