Unable to change username to previously used.

I would like to reset my username to a previously used username on my account. The username is shown as not available; but no profile exists (it has been a few years). When I try to login with the old information, it is shown as locked.

Trying to preserve my lifetime Plex Pass but would like to edit username for security reasons, mainly.

Is there a way to reset this old username so I may change to it again? Not sure why it would be shown as unavailable as it was previously used on this account.

Assuming Plex Employee may be able to assist? Not sure how else to edit.

They should. I’ve sent off a message to see if anyone is around to help on the weekend.

If you contact Plex through the normal web contact form and give them the information, they can also help you directly.

You didn’t provide any information about what account you’re trying to use or username you’re trying to change to or similar. There isn’t currently enough information to be able to look into anything.

You can PM me and reference this thread URL. (Though I’m not sure why you can’t just tell us the username info here; usernames aren’t secure information.)
