Please find the logs attached.logs.tar.gz (1.9 MB)

In the future, to make life easier for us, you do not need gzip each file.

tar cfz /tmp/Logs.tar.gz “/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs” is more than adequate.

Now, to the matter of your machine.

  1. It will not accept the certificate.
  2. It cannot store the certificate.

I would like you to restart and collect a new set.
I would also like you to verify the date/time clock on your system.

The logs you have are dated 18-Jan-2019

Date appears right. Collecting new logs now, have stopped pms, deleted Preferences.xml, and restarted.

root@dyson-plex:/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server# date
Mon Jan 21 14:20:05 CST 2019

Do I attempt to claim again before tarring and zipping logs?

Holy crap, it appears to have worked this time, my server shows up in my list, and I have no ‘unclaimed server’ notice, and I am able to change the port. I swear, i have uninstalled, re-installed, done the stop pms, delete preferences.xml, restart pms thing at least 4 times . . . no idea why it is working now. Now the only problem is that it says it is inaccessible outside my network, but i probably just need to do work on my routers for that. thanks!

Just in case there is something to be learned from why it worked this time, and wouldn’t before, here are the requested logs:logs.tar.gz (2.0 MB)
