Hi, yesterday my friend told me he couldn’t watch plex anymore. It didn’t take long that i saw this message “app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “SHIELD Android TV” securely”. I cant watch on any device anymore. The server is on my shield and always worked till now. Also my tv show are all visible but cannot open them. My movie folder however is empty while the folder on the hard drive is still full. If i want to sync this it just doesn’t sync. I did not change anything so this comes out of nothing. Also, i can’t enable the option to watch external. I can turn it on but after 5minutes it goes off. This all happend at the same time. Can someone help me with this?
What i did:
- Turn off/on server.
- reboot shield
- checked movie en tv shows folder
- reboot router
- uninstalled/installed plex again on shield
- checkes advanced settings off the router.
