"Unable to connect to SERVER securely." message in browser

Getting this error today when connecting via Chrome remotely to server PC running Plex. Android app connects fine. Plex is not set to only allow secure connections. Have restarted server and remote PC. No luck so far.

If I use IP address of my server, I get this message:

This server could not prove that it is 192.168.1.xxx; its security certificate is from *.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.plex.direct. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

Are you actually talking about a remote connection?
Because if you are remote, you would not be able to access the server’s local IP 192.168.1.xxx

There is a new thing in Chrome to consider for local connections: Client using indirect access when on the same machine as the server, and wants me to Pay - #2 by OttoKerner
