Unable to delete libraries

Server Version#:1.18.5.2309
Player Version#:4.12.3
Hi everyone

The scan does not see newly added files.
Unable to delete libraries, Empty Trash is giving an error as well.
All these started to happen when I tried to remove files from folders, then perform Scan - Empty Trash-Clean Bundle-Scan etc.

I attached the link to the log file.

Would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I’ve not downloaded your log files, as I’m not risking to access that site.
You can easily take the zip file with your logs and drag it into the message editor of this forum.

  1. activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
  2. quit Plex Server
  3. wait 1 minute
  4. start Plex Server
  5. wait 5 minutes
  6. fetch log files and attach them here

Or inspect them yourself. Take a look at the Plex Media Server.log file and seek for messages about database corrupt or malformed.
If you find these, you may have to repair your database.

Thank you. I found out that the database is corrupt.
Used the link you shared, however still do not know how to fix it on my Synology.

You need to access the Plex data folder on your Syno. See Synology FAQ - Questions, Answers, and a few How-To's

Shut down Plex server on your Syno,
copy the file com.plexapp.plugins.library.dband (if present) its “companion” files
com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-shm
com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-wal
over to your Windows workstation.
Download the sqlite tools for Windows and repair the DB.

Proceed according to the help article.

Here is an alternative approach, which uses an older backup copy of the database. However, this can only work if the backups are not corrupt themselves.

Thank you so much.

There are so many sqlite download links on their download page.
Which one should I download and use?

Precompiled Binaries for Windows

sqlite-tools-win32-x86-3310100.zip

Unzip this, then copy the plex database files into the same folder.
