I attempted to use a skull emoji as a plex user name and now they have no names unable to delete them either.
Try this:
Click on the account, and in the pop-up, select the profile tab and edit the name and picture
Then save, and try to delete again
Fixed the issue I tried editing the name on multiple devices the only one that would allow me to rename was a smart tv.
