I just updated to the latest version of Plex. I am unable to edit artwork or any details of a movie. The pencil icon simply is not there (or I am missing it). Is anyone else having this problem?
Which Plex web app are you using?
Don’t try to use the old, outdated ‘Chrome app’.
Open either the Google Chrome or Firefox web browser.
Copy this URL into the address bar and press Enter: https://app.plex.tv/desktop
If you are using the same plex.tv account which you are using to post here in the forums: there is no Plex server associated with this account. You have only a ‘shared’ server on this account.
And you cannot adminstrate a ‘shared’ server.
You’ll have to log out from the currently used plex.tv account and log in to the plex.tv account which is associated with your server.
Thank you, Otto! This one was my fault. I did not notice that a non-admin had logged in to the app. Once I was logged in, everything worked (imagine that :)).
