Plex Playlist Artwork- 2 issues

I’ve read that there is now the feature to add your own custom artwork to Plex Playlists- but I can’t see this as an option for music playlists at all. How do I use this supposedly new feature.

Also, for months, I’ve had no artwork at all on any of my music playlists. All I have is a grey box and the name of the playlist and its length. The box is also oblong, not square as the music playlist boxes used to be. Nothing else. Just loads of boring grey boxes.

What’s going on? How do I sort this?

Any help gratefully received.

If you click the Edit icon on the playlist, there should be a “Poster” page, just like you see on an Artist or Album.

If your posters are gray, maybe something’s blocking you from getting to the Edit menu? I don’t know.

That’s part of the problem for me, though. When I click on the Edit icon, I don’t get that option. I just get the general option.

And I’m on Plex server 4.65.0, which is beyond the version that this feature was operational.

As an aside, that’s the version number of the Plex Web app. You can get the Server version farther down the Settings page:

That’s just an FYI, though. At this point, if you have that version of the web app, you have a server version that supports the feature too.

Do you have any script blocking extensions in your web browser? There have been odd instances where AdBlock prevented a tab in from appearing in the Edit Album dialog. If you have an ad blocker, try disabling it to see if the Poster page appears.

OK, I’ve turned off the ad-blockers, saved the settings, rebooted the computer. Just to be thorough. Looked back into Plex.

Still no change though. Grey boxes and no option to change artwork.

Hmm, I’m afraid that’s all I’ve got. Maybe someone else will have an idea.

Thanks for helping, anyway. Much appreciated.
