Unable to favorite libraries

Posting this as a separate issue as it seems to be lost in the other issues. When I favorite a library in the new Roku client, my choices do not stay favorited. It will only keep the last item I favorited selected. I have this same issue on the iOS build so it may be an issue with my main account as I am able to favorite on a managed account I made. I have of course restarted the app, updated the app, restarted the device, power cycled the device, etc.

I saw another report of this on reddit today. Thanks for reporting.

That looks like the Desktop player version number. Can you check your server version number. When in setting of server on the left side scroll down about a 3rd of the way and there is a second General section under your server name.

Also you try to favorite a few libraries then get the Roku logs so i can add to report.

I’m not sure if I got the roku local logs into dropbox correctly?

Same on ipadOS16.7, iPadOS18.7, iPadOS26, iOS26, tvOS26.

Every single time my favorite libraries are gone after restart the plex App and my home tab is empty. I reported this since day one of plex preview but no one is interested in fixing this bug since then…

so I will downgrade my plex App on all devices and revoke to auto update plex server or any client forever, if this simple functionally is not even possible to fix ;(

I meant to ask. Are the hearts being unselected as soon as you leave the screen/menu? Like if you open the menu immediately again they are back to being not filled in (just an outline)?

It happens for me on iOS too, I’ve just learned to ignore it because I don’t have to use that app very often.

Just checking to see if there is a solution or an update for this yet. It’s still a problem for me and I assume others.

Yes: exit out of the screen/menu, go back in and they are gone.

There was an update but this annoying bug is still there after month of the „new experience“.

So it seems no one cares and I switched completly to Infuse instead of plex App.

On iOS infuse works without that plex bug.

On iPadOS Infuse works without that plex bug.

And on tvOS infuse works as well, but on tvOS there is still the old App without all the new bugs. But why have to split and use different apps instead of Infuse all over…

sorry they have not figured it out. If you favorite something in the mobile app it should be a favorite on the Roku as well.

It is broken in the mobile app as well; it has been since the new iOS app was released. It’s less of the problem in iOS because it’s a touchscreen and I just don’t use the app often. I believe is is related to my user login (as I posted in one of these threads), something isn’t playing nicely with the “new” Plex for whatever reason because other users/profiles don’t have this issue.
