Unable to find DVB-C Tuner

Tuner Make/Model: Hauppauge WinTV-DualHD
Using XMLTV?: No

I am having trouble connecting my Hauppauge tuner to Plex. I have a QNAP Nas (TS-451+, so non-ARM), and I tried connecting it to the back of the USB using Plex with it that way. This did not work, so I tried using the Plex Docker image and installing the Hauppauge drivers in the docker image (as shown here: https://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/support_linux.html), which sadly also didn’t work. The USB has been passed through to the Docker image, so this is not the problem.

When I click at “Set Up Plex Player” it just sits there with no reaction except for the spinner in the center.

Are there any known issues with this happening, or are there any people who have already done this?

Get an HDhomerun tuner instead?

Drivers for USB tuners have to be installed on the system before plex can pick up the device. If you can’t get USB to pass through properly to docke’s OS, not much else you can do.

The correct drivers and the firmware have been installed. I solved it by using a dedicated server now.
