Unable to get Plex to recognize Hauppage DualHD USB Tuner

I recently purchased a Hauppauge DualHD Card, the very same that is linked from the support devices page on Plex support as a compatible device. I plugged it in, installed drivers, the device says it is working(I was able to verify this by installing the WinTV v10 program after the fact) However, Plex says there is no device on my PC, and it refuses to see it no matter what I try. So I am at a loss, it clearly is not Windows Server or the device, so it has to be something in Plex, right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Plex Server: Version 1.28.0.5999
System Version: Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard 10.0.17763 N/A Build 17763
Hauppauge Driver Version: 5.2020.406.38125

It’s been a long time since I installed my Hauppague tuners which is a USB variety - but I had the same recognition issue as well.
It turned out I needed manually enter it’s IP address and have Plex locate it that way.
Sorry I’m not able to be specific, but I hope this helps you get your tuner working with Plex.

Windows 10 x64 Pro
Hauppauge OpenCable Receiver

How do I enter the IP for a USB device? Or do you mean the local IP for the server?

IP address for the tuner.

The IP address Hauppague assigned for my tuner is

http://192.168.149.193

I am not sure how a USB device would have been given a local IP address. That makes no sense to me, but suppose I can check my DHCP lease logs.
