I have had plexmediaserver running on a fedora linux host for some time. Everything has been working well until that host died.
I now need to set up on a new host also running fedora.
So far I have relocated all my library files, installed the media server, and am stuck.
The media server was installed from the rpm file
plexmediaserver-1.32.7.7621-871adbd44.x86_64.rpm and is running on the new host
However, I am unable to get the setup wizard to run so I can configure my local libraries. It only provides online streaming at this point.
Any specific things I am missing or suggestions as to what may be improperly configured or otherwise interfering.? I can not see anything online that specifies the older host name for my personal server so configurations there may be an issue but seem not accessible to me.
Help will be greatly appreciated.
My short hostname is ‘raptor’ on the LAN
With using http://127.0.0.1:32400 all I get is a text display of an xml file.
When using http://raptor:32400 I get the plex app with streaming content.
When using the actual IP for raptor (192.168.4.113) I get the same response as when using the localhost IP.
I never seem to be able to launch the setup wizard to enable configuring the server.
