My service provider added more channels to the lineup and now, with 1200 channels being sent to Plex, Plex is unable to load channel mappings. I’ve already tried to filter down the channels as best as I can, but I’m not able to get it any smaller now. Please allow Plex to allow channel mappings for high channel counts.
IPTV isn’t officially supported directly by Plex, doubtful they would increase that limit; and if they do, it won’t be any time soon.
For feature requests, there’s a forum for that.
Do you really need immediate access to those channels? I have my channels down to 295 (320 if I unhide PPV). If I ever need to check the others groups, then I load up Tivimate for that purpose.
No I don’t but right now, I can’t filter it down anymore than I have right now. It’s actually a provider that provides an absurd amount of channels. I’m definitely going to try and whittle it down further, but, having Plex handle a larger amount of channels would be ideal as well.
Especially if the Buffalo Triangle Project is going to become a reality.
