Unable to load photos

Server Version#:1.22.3.4392-d7c624def Apr 19, 2021
Player Version#: web 4.54.5
I am totally perplexed having invested countless hours setting up Plex on a Netgear Nighthawk X10 R9000 Router that came with Plex. I had it dialed in running flawlessly & went to look at some photos recently while appearing as thumbnails but will not display the full size.
After spending way too much time & having my engineer assisting we are stumped!!
Current PLEX version:1.22.3.4392-d7c624def Apr 19, 2021 (on Netgear with automatic updates selected)
I did find this online:
Photos have been broken since v1.23.1.4571. I’ve been testing with each new version (including v1.23.2.4656 now) and it’s still broken. Rolling back to v1.22.3.4523 fixes it.
This is unacceptable I am a Lifetime Plex Pass holder. <If providing server logs

Can you provide your server logs after trying to view a photo. Which Plex player were you viewing them in?

Plex Media Server Logs_2023-03-07_02-27-01.zip (3.2 MB)

I get the same result on all plex players “Unable to load photo”
web, windows, macOS, iOS, Fire Tablet

Does anyone actually reply to these posts?

Is there a way to get some timely support for plex issues?

BigWheel did you get a chance to review the logs i uploaded?

Hi,

We are trying to figure out why Netgear has not updated the device to the latest server versions. the one you are running is pretty old.

I do see some errors related to not being able to access files in directories when trying to run butler tasks. which may be related

Hi BigWheel,

What confuses me is that everything ran flawless for at least a yr+ & nothing was changed. Then one day “Unable to load photo” occurred???
So does this indicate that updates to the player apps are the root of the problem?

Hi BigWheel,

Any update on resolving this problem???

@davidiis How are you updating PMS? PMS on the X10 was not designed to be manually updated. It’s possible something went wrong with what you’ve done.

I haven’t updated PMS, the Plex server is set to automatic updates!!

I’m not able to reproduce an issue with photos on my X10. Can you try creating a new test library with just a few pictures and see if you see the same issue. Maybe your library got corrupted.
