Not 100 percent sure when this started happening, but I know I was able to view my photos in a player in the last week or two. Now, all the thumb nails still show, however, when you attempt to play them, it just states " Unable to load Photo". I have tried 2 different PC’s and 2 sheild pros, and the plex app on my Note 10+. No luck. Any assistance would be great.
And if I choose timeline, it just spins and crashes the server.
Can you use Web and go to a photo, hover over the poster, in the bottom right, click on the 3 dot icon, select get info, then view XML. Copy and paste that into a file and attach that file to your next comment.
My solution was that I first deleted the photo album from meny. Restarted the Nvidia shield and re-created the photo album again.
Reindexing the photo album after i created the new photo album.
Everything efter this two procedures went well.
I believe that took two Plex server updates before everything started to work again.
So please update your Plex media server before the procedure.
I hope this will help.
I’m having this same issue on Synology DSM after updating to version 7 (I think… It may have happened prior to this.) We can see all the thumbnails, but all of the photos we click on get this error message (unable to load photo). We are updated to the latest version of Plex. Any suggestions? I can try deleting the photo albums as a last resort, but we have a lot of them…
Hi, sorry for my english, i have the same before, but i find the solution in my case. My Share pfad “\volume1\ALL\Bilder” in the time i cange to “\volume1\all\Bilder” and this was the problem, the “ALL” to “all” for plex software is big or little a problem, you must change in the medialiberty the phath.
