I have just downloaded Plex after a friend of mine showed it to me. He has no problems playing any shows or movies, but I am for some reason not able to watch several TV Shows from my account. I have the files on my main desktop for my MacBook Pro. I have movies files it can access just fine but nothing for these shows. I hope someone may be able to assist with this issue. I wish there was a tech support we could call for assistance.
if your files are not organized and named the way Plex expects them then they won’t be picked up.

They are named exactly the same as my friends and they are showing up fine for him. Only difference I can come up with is he operates from Windows.

what type of library. can you show us a screenshot of files? and a screen shot of your library settings for folders
I put it in a Folder just now saying Season 1 and it is loading now!
- Do not add individual show folders here. This is the folder where all your tv shows are. You need a folder named TV or whatever that the Kyo Kara Maoh! folder will go into with your other show folders.
make a folder called Anime or whatever on your desktop and this is what needs ot be added to that field assuming you are keeping it on the desktop
/Users/jeffreyjfaust/Desktop/Anime/
- I’m not sure what scanner you or your friends are using but Plex generally needs to have both the season and episode in the file name with the default scanner.
So 100 if that is episode 1 should be S01E001 or S01E100 if episode 100 like in the link i posted earlier.
there are third party Anime scanners and agents your friend might have installed but i don’t personally use them
