All of a sudden, I am unable to log in to my PLEX server using Edge or Firefox. I tried it with Internet Explorer and was able to get to it. With Edge or Firefox, I get an endless loop of being re-directed to login. Server is running on Ubuntu 16.04 and is on the latest release. Anyone else having this problem?
An update. I use the NoScript extension in Firefox and I had let the usual things through for the PLEX server but it still did not work. I removed the NoScript extension and then it worked.
OK, I’ve got the exact same thing. Trying to sign into Plex web UI on the local plex server using firefox 57.0.2 (64-bit) it says sign in successful, but then errors on redirect saying there was an error signing in. Signing into the plex.tv site No errors, it just sits at the sign in screen. Signing in via edge (Like I am now) no errors.
I’ve checked security.ssl.require_safe_negotiation and it is set to false.
For the local login I’m using PIN for signing in.
Any thoughts?
I haven’t tried using Firefox since I upgraded to Quantum and Edge has been working. I just now tried it and it looks like it worked for me. You might try again. My Firefox is version 57.0.3 and PLEX server is 1.11.0.4666.
