In order to test this further, I erased the iPad (without a restore) I then tried to log into the sites and was able to. It did initially prompt me that I was logged out and needed to log back in (which I did with my Google auth) and the process completed as expected.
I then restored the device completely and I am still able to log in successfully 
Even though when this was an issue and I had nuked all the cache in my browsers something must have been funky somewhere
