Can't log into Plex account on iOS

I get a user can’t be authenticated error when I try to log into the Plex app on iPhone 13 Mini. I’m on iOS 15.2.1. I can log into plex.tv website just fine with Chrome on my computer (wired connection). Other wireless devices that were logged in previously still work, but I don’t want to sign out and sign back in, in case they also stop working.

No, I can’t log on app.plex.tv on my phone (Safari, Chrome) either

does it matter if you are on wifi or cellular on your phone?

No, doesn’t matter. If I am on cellular only, I can’t log into my account in the Plex app or in a browser (Chrome, Safari, also now tested Firefox) to app.tv.plex

if it is not accessible in Safari as well then i think something on phone is blocking plex.tv or not allowing redirects/cross domains

the ios logs might shed light

I did a workaround by linking my Google account to Plex. I am now able to authenticate through Google rather than through Plex’s servers. This reset my dashboard in the Plex app, but things work again
