I just bought a new Roku TV and cannot log in to Plex because it states that “User could not be authenticated. This IP appears to be having trouble signing in to an account (detected repeated f.ailure)”
However, no one has been logging into Plex from this IP address. I have waited 90 minutes and this still appears. I waited three hours and it still seems. I’ve uninstalled the Plex app and restarted the Roku TV. Still no success. I’m getting annoyed.
And before anyone asks, I reset my password before this process so I know it’s correct as well.
It appears to be working now as of this afternoon I was able to login. Not sure what the problem was, but thanks to @FordGuy61 for replying. I hope everyone has a good day.
I’m having the same problem and I don’t know where to begin resolving it. I can login from my desktop computer, my laptop computer (both Win), android tablet and android phone.
