I’ve been having problems playing mkv from my remote server (evoseedbox). Tried on multiple access points, same types of errors which show up in the logs (see below). The issue happens after 3-6 minutes of normal playback, then the video buffers and eventually throws an error. On the Samsung TV the error shows up as "media file not supported error [AVplay]. When I play remotely via my laptop through Firefox I get something like: “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.” after 3-6 minutes of playback.
It always seems to happen with HD mkv files and only remote playback. Moving the file to my laptop and playing local area network works fine (so I don’t think it’s a TV app issue).
Does anyone have advice? I’ve been trying to fix this problem for a while now and can’t seem to find a solution.
My lead culprits are: a seedbox bandwidth issue or maybe a seedbox temp directory issue during transcode.
