I’m having a problem playing stations with the TuneIn channel on rasplex, and its got me pretty stumped.
So I installed it, and originally it didn’t work (when trying to play a station, it said the file couldn’t be found), but then the dev released and updated the channel, so it started working again.
However its stopped work, and I haven’t seen the developer post any more about it, so I guess they’re probably busy living life and so forth.
I’m trying to investigate it myself, and the channel logs on the PMS don’t really suggest anything to me. The stations work on all devices (web, iPhone, iPad) but just not rasplex.
So I’ve been delving into the rasplex logs, and when I’m trying to load a station, I get the following out put:
I notice when using other channels whilst tailing the logs that when a stream plays it will open the url with COMXPlayer… should tunein in be exhibiting the same behaviour?
I can connect to the plex server (running Ubuntu) and play Tunein channels successfully via my browser, so the issue appears to be related to RasPlex rather than the Plex server itself.
Never seen the point of channels. Great idea but not properley supported to stay operational for long. At best you get lucky and find one that works for a while.

Some are good, like filmon.
Shoutcast is still working well. I’ve written some of my own channels for specific radio stations I want too.
