Just an FYI, the Emby Beta player works fine.

Update:
Saw a new Plex Beta player release, Plex Beta player now also works.
I’d venture the fix is in a version of ExoPlayer that Emby and Plex are picking up?

So, it looks like this has been fixed at some point. My native Plex client on the Fire Stick can play 50fps (The Bridge) and 25fps (Sherlock) videos without errors or stuttering.
