Unable to playback at reduced bitrate

I’ve been experiencing choppy playback (with scrambled encoding) on some MKV files with a bitrate higher than 10Mps - all other MKVs at lesser bitrates play fine.

To fix the issue I set the max bitrate in Settings > Video > Local Quoaliry to 8 Mbps, 1080p - which worked fine until recently. Now I get a playback error.

Other (newer) Samsung TVs on the same network can playback all files in Original quality without any issues, so it appears that this is related to the Samsung device in question.

Samsung recently pushed an update for the device, which might have coincided with this issue, but I cannot be sure.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Possibly, but as mentioned I can play all MKV files on the TV, only some clips that are above 10Mps playback choppy.
