In a smart collection when clicking on the 3 dots for an item and selecting “Remove from Collection” a popup appears that says “There was a problem removing this item.” I have tried through the Windows player and through the Web player.
There may be a UI problem here; “Remove from Collection” should probably not be an option for items in smart collections. Smart collections are built from filters, with each item being added to the collection based on its having matched that (those) filter(s).
It doesn’t, in my opinion, make sense to be able to manually remove an item from a smart collection, because that implies that either the filters are wrong or the metadata for the item to be removed is wrong.
If the problem is the former, correct the filters. If the problem is the latter, correct the metadata. Either way, the item will then be automatically removed from the smart collection.
I was thinking it was a UI issue. Since i can remove items from regular collections.
