Since a few updates ago I am unable to see the audio tracks contained inside many of my albums. The app just shows the number of tracks contained whithin the album (see screenshot). I have tried reinstalling the Android app, refreshing the metadata and optimizing the database, but none of this has worked. This does not happen in the web version, so I suspect it has to do exclusively with the Android version of the player.
To see the tracks, I have to play the album and search for the songs within the playback queue, which is very annoying, because in albums with several discs or with many tracks, not all of them appear in the queue.
I keep having the same issue after several updates. After sharing my problem on the Play Store I was referred to these forums. Any chance of this being resolved?
I haven’t found anyone here with this problem, maybe I don’t know how to use the search engine properly, but in other forums (Reddit) some users have shared similar issues with the app.
I’ve found that if you scroll down as soon as you tap on the album you want to play, it sometimes loads the tracklist. You have to do it very fast though and it doesn’t always work. Also, if you start playback and then close the player (by pressing the X at the top right) the tracklist will usually be displayed afterwards. In any case, these workarounds are very tedious when you’re just trying to find a song within an album or create a playlist on the fly.
