Unable to see files in Plex from GDrive via rclone

Hardware: Raspberry Pi 3+

I followed this instruction for installing Plex Server:

In SSH, I can run ls -l ~/mnt/gdrive and see my files/folders as user:pi

Inside Plex Server, I’ve set my gdrive to /home/pi/mnt/gdrive

I believe my issue is that Plex installed on the Pi as username “plex” whereas rclone is installed for username “pi”. This is therefore causing me to not see my files.

To fix this, I tried running:
sudo su
find /home/pi/mnt/gdrive -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;
and received the error:
find: ‘/home/pi/mnt/gdrive’: Permission denied

Feeling stuck. Can anyone lend me a hand?

I figured out the solution:

rclone mount gdrive: $HOME/mnt/gdrive --allow-other

Note: Had to edit /etc/fuse.conf to allow non-root user to allow mounting of non-root users

cd /etc
sudo nano fuse.conf

REMOVE THE “#” on last line
SAVE

rclone mount gdrive: $HOME/mnt/gdrive --allow-other
