I am a long time user of Plex, in my previous nas I had Plex running smoothly for years…I had to move and didn’t get the new cables ran and everything else setup till now.
I built a new nas, nothing fancy. After I installed Plex server on Win 7 Pro x64. After I installed the app for Android ( on Samsung S10+ , logged in and saw no server. After reading some articles online about checking secure connections and some other things, I still have no luck. Can’t see a darn thing, nor the server. So, this is what I have done, and I don’t know where to go from here as I’ve tried everything.
Uninstalled / Reinstalled Plex, remade server and added library’s. Uninstalled / Reinstalled Plex Android app. Nothing
Switched routers - nothing
Eliminated router and went straight into cable modem - nothing
Reinstalled win 7 / Reformatted Android, installed server again and Android app - nothing
I can’t figure it out and I’m frustrated, is this a bug? It is to be so easy before…
Any help would be appreciated,
