I’m setting up a new server using unraid and binhex-plex docker. I have a media share setup and the docker template points to the correct directory. When i start the web interface, serverip:32400/web, it goes to a login page and doesn’t allow me to setup the new server. I have another plex server at another location and that one shows up.
There was a plex server on this network that had a hardware failure, so I removed that one from authorized devices before setting up the new server.
Ben banging my head and looking for an fix but nothing has worked so far.
Connecting with opnvpn to the firewall, then connecting to 192.168..:32400/web. Everything else works normally. I have been moving files to where they belong and setting up all the other docker containers I use. I’ll try it locally this weekend and see if anything changes.
I had a thought this morning that browser cache might be causing the issue, but I don’t have time to check right now.
To me this sounds like you are connecting from an external IP address, which plex will not allow you to use to claim the server. Any chance you can RDP into the server?
